Adele Dobkowski brings leadership experience in the cultural, health, educational, environmental and international development fields to her role at ArtsBuild Ontario. She has particular expertise in organizational change, strategic planning, marketing and revenue development.
Adele helped create the Stratford Chefs School and served as its first Executive Director. As a senior executive and as the principal of Philanthropy Solutions Inc., Adele has helped a wide range of organizations, including CESO, CUSO, Stratford Festival, Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, University of Guelph, TIFFG and Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.
Adele is committed to a results-oriented business perspective that is founded in a clear understanding of the values and mission of an organization. She is a strategic thinker who understands how to build consensus by identifying mutual benefits, designing systems to promote effectiveness and accountability, and developing strategies that support organizational mandates. She received her BA in English Literature from the University of Chicago and was in the inaugural class of the University of Toronto's EMBA program.
