Andrew Lee brings his enthusiasm for innovative changes in a career that crisscrosses the arts and the built environment. Andrew has managed funding programs with the Ontario Trillium Foundation, United Way of Greater Toronto, and the City of Toronto, project-managed the cultural funding component of the Year of Asia Pacific on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs, and own and operated a book store specialized in Asia.
As a Special Adviser to Ontario ministers from 1990 to 1995, Andrew was responsible for policies in public art, artist live/work space, and energy efficiency in public buildings. As the Senior Cultural Affairs Officer with the City of Toronto, he developed Toronto's 2003 culture plan, instigated the year-long celebration of creativity in 2005/06, and created an international young professional program where over 20 university graduates worked for six months with cultural organizations in Europe and the U.S.
