The process of planning and executing a major maintenance project<\/b> has a lot in common with new construction projects.\u00a0 The phases of work, characters involved, and key considerations are similar, just executed on a shorter timeframe and with (hopefully) much less disruption to existing operations.<\/p>\n

The scale of the maintenance project will determine what level of detail is required for each step, and usually will not require an extensive concept and feasibility process.<\/p>\n

However, major maintenance often requires some targeted fundraising, oversight of a (short) design and specification process, and will certainly have impacts to your existing facilities during construction.<\/p>\n
