{"id":748,"date":"2013-01-07T01:14:06","date_gmt":"2013-01-07T06:14:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.artsbuildontario.ca\/pibi\/?p=748"},"modified":"2017-04-21T14:43:21","modified_gmt":"2017-04-21T18:43:21","slug":"cm-at-risk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.artsbuildontario.ca\/pibi\/?p=748","title":{"rendered":"CM-At Risk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Construction Management At-Risk project delivery, a General Contractor (GC)\/CM is selected on the basis of his\/her <b>qualifications<\/b> (not on the basis of the lowest bid, as in Design-Bid-Build) is invited to join the latter part of the design process.\u00a0 The GC\/CM offers constructability, cost, and scheduling advice as the design is finished, and often guarantees the completion of the project for a guaranteed maximum <b>price negotiated before design is 100% complete <\/b>(GMP).
