ArtsBuild Ontario and the Accelerator Centre are excited to unveil the O GALLERY @ 44. The O Gallery provides public exhibition space for local emerging and community artists. We are thrilled to announce our first public exhibit, featuring Artshine Arts4All opens May 25, 2017!

The Art Show in Support of Emerging Artists, hosted by Artshine Arts4All  features works by artists from around Waterloo Region who have been inspired by Artshine and Arts4All. Showcasing artists from uniquely diverse backgrounds, all featured works will be available for sale and will directly support the artist!

ArtsBuild Ontario is thrilled to be a part of the new arts and technology hub at 44 Gaukel, in the heart of Downtown Kitchener. This new creative community is run in partnership with the Accelerator Centre, a technology incubator dedicated to building and scaling sustainable, globally competitive technology. The facility is supported in part by the City of Kitchener. This partnership represents a great opportunity to bring together the inventive world of tech and the vibrant creativity of the arts sector – and we anticipate wonderful innovations to come!

44 Gaukel features 10,000 square feet of space shared between the tech makerspaces of the Accelerator Centre, ArtsBuild Ontario and local arts and culture organizations operating in Waterloo Region. 44 Gaukel provides a unique opportunity for artists/organizations to come together with the tech world to create a new creative community, foster cross-sectoral partnerships and be an example of innovative space-sharing practice in the Waterloo region and beyond. 44 Gaukel is also home to a new rentable rehearsal space available for local artists and arts and culture groups. This 735 square foot rehearsal studio is outfitted with laid rosco floors, stage curtains and full length mirrors.  We are thrilled to be able to offer this space as an affordable and suitable resource for the arts community. We extend our thanks to the City of Kitchener for their support in providing this space for the community. This space can be booked through SpaceFinder Waterloo Region.
