At ArtsBuild Ontario (ABO), we provide small and medium-sized arts organizations and independent artists with the tools, training, physical spaces, and resources they need to manage creative facilities across the province. In addition to our provincial work, ABO manages tenant relationships and operations within our section at the 44 Gaukel Creative Workspace in Kitchener.

We are excited to invite applications for a Marketing & Operations Coordinator to help amplify our mission and support our daily creative workspace operations.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Executive Director and collaborating closely with the Program Manager, this role bridges external strategic storytelling with hands-on facility coordination.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Marketing & Digital Communications: Designing accessible visual graphics, creating social content, compiling monthly Mailchimp newsletters, and updating WordPress website content.

  • 44 Gaukel Facility & Tenant Operations: Serving as a primary point of contact for tenant communications, licensing, and facility coordination at 44 Gaukel.

  • Program & Event Support: Supporting logistics for ABO workshops, webinars, Eventbrite registrations, and online toolkits.

Key Position Details

  • Position: Marketing & Operations Coordinator

  • Hours: Part-Time / Hybrid (24 hours per week)

  • Compensation: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

  • Location: Kitchener, ON (Hybrid work environment with regular on-site availability at 44 Gaukel)

  • Target Start Date: September 8, 2026
