Project Delivery methods describe how project contracts are arranged, setting up the relationship between the owner, architect, and contractor, as well as with when and how fees and building costs are negotiated.
There are a number of methods in use throughout the construction industry, but the most common types for cultural facilities projects are:
- Design-Bid-Build
- Construction Management (CM) At-Risk
Other project delivery methods, only sometimes used for cultural projects, include Design-Build and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
